Wedding photos are posted. I'll be posting more photos at a later date, both from the wedding and the honeymoon.

We've just returned from the honeymoon (it's about 1 AM currently) and I'm not posting any pictures tonight/this morning. I will, however, post a link to the photographer's blog, as he has some of the pictures posted there: Link

Less than a week before the wedding, and the website is finally finished! The "Bride and Groom" page has finally been completed, and includes a section on the wedding party. If there's any other information that's missing from the website, let me know as soon as possible.

We had a question about dress code from one of our friends. Apparently, an evening wedding implies that the dress code is formal. Ignore that completely - the dress code for guests is anywhere from business casual to formal; I could care less what you're wearing, as long as you are wearing something.

Also, we've moved, so don't send anything to the address that's the return address on the wedding invitation. If you don't have our new address, email one of us and we can send it to you.

If there aren't any more updates between now and the wedding, shortly after the honeymoon I'll post wedding pictures to the photos section of the site.

The Hampton Inn is booked, so I'm adding another hotel to the hotel page of the website. Also, the Holiday Inn Express that was linked to was the one all the way out in Champions, so that one has been taken down.

The invitations have all gone out now, and we're finalizing the last details. There is a new sidebar link on the website, and the new page details hotel information for guests visiting from out of town.

We're in the process of addressing and sending out all the invitations, and we're handing out and mailing the first few today. We should have all of them addressed and mailed before the weekend is through.

There are a few things that I noticed were missing from the website, and quite a bit has been happening lately as well. As neither of us has a real blog to post things, I'll make a quick list here:

• The photographer for the wedding is D. Jones Photography. His blog has some example photos, but if you want to visit the rest of the site you'll need Adobe Flash.
• Fajita Willies will be catering the reception. If you aren't familiar with the Willies restaurants, they're a local chain that started out on Hwy 290. As the reception won't really get going until 8:30 or 9 PM, the food will be served as a buffet.
• For those involved, the wedding rehearsal is going to be at 5 PM the day before the wedding.
• House news: Gillian and I found and are in the process of buying a townhouse near Chimney Rock and Westheimer. Once everything is settled, pictures will be posted on the main patrickandgillian.com website (which doesn't actually exist yet).

We received the invitations in the mail today, and we should be mailing them out soon. Most of the details for the wedding are finished, and we'll post more details soon.

Links to the gift registries are posted. Also, Gillian has been looking at photographers and has found one that she likes. We'll post a link to the photographer's site when we come to a decision.

The ceremony will be June 21, 2008, 7:30 PM at St. Anne's Catholic Church (for those of you who know Houston, it's at Shepherd and Westheimer, near River Oaks). The reception will be held at The Gallery. After we finish building the wedding site, there will be more ceremony details on the page linked to from the left.

We took engagement photos two weeks ago and I'm going to post them to the website either tomorrow or early this week.

It's far from finished, there's no content, and none of the links on the left work, but we have a website. The color scheme needs to be tweaked, and I still have work to do on the css and ssi backend so that writing the other pages will be easy, but this should do for now. Expect updates in mid-June, after we get back from Disneyworld.
